A fire broke out on Wednesday on two speedboats docked at a pier in Phang Nga's Tai Muang district, injuring captain and crew. Rescue staff along with a water truck rushed to scene at Tap Lamut pier in the district and found both speedboats engulfed by fire. It took them two hours to extinguish the blaze.

PHANGNGA: Two speedboats caught fire at a pier in Thai Muang district on Wednesday, with three boat attendants injured. Police received reports on the boat incident at the Por Duang Thaweeporn 1 pier in tambon Thab Lamu at about 11am, said Pol Cap Jaran Srirak from the Thai Muang police station.
